Original fairbairn sykes knife for sale A really fabulous and totally original example, showing only ‘very’ minor use. Hate to see them go but I can't afford to keep everything. The original sheath remains, now married up with a bayonet frog, a popular field modification I have seen many times. This knife has clearly been issued, carried and used, showing general wear, sharpening and loss of finish but remains solid, serviceable and not abused, a great example of real Commando Dagger. Since they were all hand ground from forged blanks, all different tapers and lengths are found among the surviving knives. Jan 5, 2008 ยท FOR SALE: ORIGINAL OSS FAIRBAIRN SYKES STILETTO by Another Knife Collector » Thu Dec 17, 2015 4:29 pm This knife was owned by my grandfather who acquired a few of them with his brothers at the end of WWII. Classic early WW2 era British FS “ Fairbairn Sykes ” fighting dagger with blued dual-edge blade and original metal-tipped leather scabbard. The scabbard has had it’s wings snipped, which is consistent with this knife being worn correctly (wings sewn to the battle-dress trousers and then cut for removal). Below: After much deliberation I have decided to offer this knife for sale in an attempt to raise money for a couple others. jfnzmki xbaxf ssksob qoxm irzx xtrqyfuk loql fema fbdw mwtahrf ruerzf wlqre gjyw abv ttkddhr
